Hope Medical Interpreter Services are bound by the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice and HIPPA. Hope Medical Outreach Interpreters provide confidential and reliable face-to-face and phone interpretation services.
Each interpreter receives in house training as specified through the National Council on Interpreting in Health Care (NCIH). All interpreters are screened for their language skills and techniques as well as given medical screenings, including but not limited to TB testing.
Referrals provided to each interpreter are prefaced with information relative to the upcoming visit. Through protocol, all interpreters are required to contact the client(s) prior to the scheduled appointment.
Each interpreter will arrive at the assigned visit site 15 minutes prior to the scheduled appointment to assist the patient with registration information and answer any question the office may have prior to the visit.
- Interpreter services are available for non-emergency medical appointments.
- Interpreters available for Spanish, Nuer, Vietnamese, Somali, Arabic, Mai Mai, French, Karen, Burmese, Swahili, Dinka, Bosnian.
- Interpreter rates are $35.00 per hour with a one hour minimum.
